The story of

Aishwarya Goud

I am a general practitioner in Hyderabad. Medicine is my profession and I take it seriously. Writing is what I do with everything else.

I write in scenes, from specific afternoons in my clinic or my room or a cafe somewhere, because that is how I think and how I make sense of things. I am not interested in prescriptive advice or tidy conclusions. I am interested in what is actually true, and I write towards that slowly.

I am drawn to essay writing because it holds contradiction and nuance in a way that other forms do not. These are not posts. They are pieces I write when I have something honest to say.

If something here resonates, read slowly. That is all I ask.

Where the writing happens.

I am always studying something. If you want to see the courses and skills I am currently working through, they are on my Learning Journey page.

The essays are where everything on this site comes to life. Start there.
